Amber “Sunshine” Callahan serves as the Director of Outreach and Evangelism at CompassLife Church. She leads community outreach events, small group discipleship, and our First Impressions team—all with the goal of helping people encounter God’s love in real and practical ways. Sunshine brings creativity, strategy, and a passion for worship into everything she does, believing the church is called to be “a city on a hill” (Matthew 5:14).

Biography
Amber Sunshine Callahan—known by her middle name “Sunshine,” which we think truly fits—serves as the Director of Outreach and Evangelism at CompassLife Church, where her heart is to help people encounter the love of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways. Growing up in a ministry family, she spent part of her childhood in the early 1990s on the mission field in Siberia, Russia, and her young adult years in Almaty, Kazakhstan—experiences that deeply shaped her lifelong passion for sharing the gospel. Sunshine graduated from Harding University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree and, since 2016, has been both a foster parent and an advocate for local foster and adoptive families, including her own.
